Mutual Fund Roundup MF Activity
Indian equity markets Indian mutual funds turned net buyers of equities
registered positive returns in to the tune of Rs 2,039.70 crore in the month of
February 2017. The barometer February 2017. Highest buying was recorded
index, S&P BSE Sensex in the fourth week of the month when the fund
delivered positive return of houses made total net buy of Rs 2,936.20 crore of
3.93% to settle at 28743.32 and equities. On the other hand, foreign institutional
Nifty 50 gained 3.72% ending investors (FIIs) bought Rs 9,902.18 crore worth of
the month at 8879.60. equities in February 2017.
