Mutual Fund Roundup
Indian equity markets ended on negative note
in February 2018. The barometer index, S&P BSE
Sensex and Nifty50 delivered negative return
of 4.8% each to settle at 34184.04 and 10492.85
respectively.
MF Activity
Indian mutual funds turned net buyers of equities
to the tune of Rs 12,380.88 crore in the month of
February 2018. Highest buying was recorded
in the fourth week of the month when the fund
houses made total net buy of Rs 5,312.47 crore of
equities. On the other hand, foreign institutional
investors (FIIs) sold Rs 11,037.40 crore worth of
equities in February 2018.
